You will also explore all of the attractions in Gangtok & then proceed to Darjeeling, which is known for its tea plantations & beautiful sunrises at Tiger Hill. A 4-night and 5-day vacation is perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful break with family, friends, or an important other.

Itinerary

On arrival at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to Gangtok.
Enjoy a lovely drive through green hills & winding roads.
On arrival, check in to your hotel & relax.
The rest of the day is free for relaxation activities.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.

(Distance: 52 km one way | Timing: 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM)

After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to the beautiful Tsomgo Lake (12,000 ft), a stunning high-altitude lake near the Indo-China border.
Enjoy the peaceful surroundings, play in the snow (seasonal), & you can also opt for a yak ride.
Later, visit the sacred Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a shrine dedicated to an Indian soldier.
Return to the hotel by afternoon & enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Optional Tour - Visit Nathula Pass (14,000 ft) on the Indo-China border (closed on Mondays). Available for Indian nationals with prior permits at an additional cost.

After breakfast, enjoy a half-day Gangtok city tour (9:00 AM to 1:00 PM) covering - Bonjhakri Falls, Gonjang Monastery, Government Institute of Cottage Industry, Orchid House Flower Show, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology & Do Drul Chorten.
Later, check out of the hotel & drive to Darjeeling (7,100 ft).
On arrival, check in to your hotel & relax.

Early Morning (4:00 AM – 7:30 AM)
Visit Tiger Hill to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Kanchenjunga range. On the way back, explore - Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery
Return to the hotel for breakfast.
Post Breakfast (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM):
Continue sightseeing with visits to - Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tea Gardens, Tenzing Rock & Gombu Rock & Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda.
Evening is free to explore Mall Road for shopping & local experiences.
