Sprinting through the airport to make a connecting flight is no fun, especially when you have to lug your heavy luggage with you. What’s even more frustrating is arriving at your destination only to find out that your airline doesn’t allow you to bring your carry-on bag on the plane. This can be a huge headache, especially if you’re travelling overseas and don’t have time to shop for new clothes and toiletries. In case you are wondering how much luggage you can carry on your trip with SpiceJet, we have listed complete details on SpiceJet baggage allowance below!
Being a budget airline, SpiceJet offers low-cost air travel in India. It provides several attractive features, including a relatively low baggage allowance. This blog post will give you an idea about the SpiceJet baggage allowance policy and its comparison with other budget airlines.
About SpiceJet Airlines
Since the start of operations in May 2005, SpiceJet Airlines has always been a low-cost airline. Based in Gurgaon, India, the airline operates a fleet of Boeing 737 and Airbus A340 aircraft. The airline operates more than 630 daily flights, including 54 domestic and 15 international destinations. Also, offering some of the lowest fares in the market, this no-frills carrier has become one of the most preferred airlines for passengers travelling on a budget.
SpiceJet Baggage Allowance
Low fares are not the only reason for SpiceJet Airlines’ growing popularity. The airline is also known for its generous baggage allowance policy, allowing passengers to check-in comfortably without paying any extra charges. All passengers can carry one piece of check-in baggage and one small cabin bag for free. If a passenger exceeds the SpiceJet baggage allowance, they will be charged a fee for each additional kilogram.
SpiceJet Cabin Or Hand Baggage Allowance
SpiceJet offers generous cabin baggage allowances for both domestic and international flights. In addition, each passenger is allowed a maximum of one piece of hand baggage. Furthermore, all items must fit comfortably inside the hand baggage without dangerously obstructing other passengers’ view. SpiceJet baggage allowance policy states that any item too big to work in a standard cabin bag will be considered part of your check-in baggage allowance.
